UPCOMING: Configuring Wholegood Floor Plan Scheduled Payments
The Wholegood Scheduled Payments feature allows you to schedule payments then select and pay the scheduled floor plan amounts. Prior to using the feature, you will need to map your floorplan accounts to the correct Supplier and schedule specific payments for liabilities with multiple payment dates.

Mapping Suppliers to the Floor Plan Accounts
Mapped Supplier will be auto-populated on payment documents when paying Floor Plan amounts that are posted to the specific g/l account through the system.
Navigate to Company > Find > Chart of Accounts Grid (Ctrl+T)

Locate your Floor Plan accounts. These accounts will be of type Other Current Liability and will be referenced to Wholegood. You will need to assign the Floorplan Supplier to each account separately.
Right-click on the account and choose the option to Modify...

There is a mapping option in the lower half of the Modify Account pop-up to add a Supplier. If you do not see this option, ensure your account is type Other Current Liability and it is referenced to Wholegood. Click the ellipse (3 dots) on the right side of the Supplier field to initiate a pop-up.

In the pop-up, search for the Finance Company Supplier. Double-click on the supplier to add to the floor plan account.

Click OK on the Modify Account pop-up once you have added the Floorplan Supplier to the account.

Repeat this process until all Floor Plan accounts have been assigned the correct Supplier. You can add the Supplier Description field from the Column Chooser in your Chart of Accounts Grid to verify the assignments.

Adding Scheduled Payments and Due Dates
For pre-existing Floor Plan amounts, you will need to add any scheduled payments and due dates within the module.
New Floorplan amounts booked on IR/Bills or Wholegood Journals will automatically populate the Due Date from the IR/Bill or Wholegood Journal. You will need to add scheduled payments for all situations with more than one payment date.
NOTE: A due date is not required to be entered in order to pay a floor plan amount in the module.
To add scheduled payments, navigate to Wholegood > Find > Floor Plan Scheduled Payments
This will bring up the Floor Plan Scheduled Payments tab. In the header, you have optional pre-fetch filters that you can use to limit the floor plan amounts in the list.
Wholegood ID, Serial #, and Stock # fields allow you to search for a specific wholegood to pay.
Liability Account allows you to choose a specific floorplan account and the list will be limited to wholegoods for which that Liability Account is assigned.
Click on Fetch after entering pre-fetch filters.

The first time you fetch this list, you will not have any Due Dates or Scheduled Payments populated. For wholegoods that will have a payment schedule to include multiple payment dates, you can right click on the line item and choose Edit Scheduled Payments.

You will see a Floor Plan Scheduled Payment details pop-up. The amount of the liability will populate at the top of the box for reference. If you are only adding a due date, you can populate the correct date in the Due Date field and click on Save. To add scheduled payments, add the Due Date of the FIRST payment that will be due on the existing line.

Next you will click on the Add Scheduled Payment button at the top of the pop-up one time for each payment that you need to add. In my example, I have added a total of 6 payments.
The system will create the payments for the same day of each consecutive month. You can change the payment due dates, but you must keep them in chronological order in the list.

Now you can update the Amount of each payment that will be due. In my example, I will have 6 equal payments that will total the complete liability due. You do not have to enter equal amounts on each payment as long as the total equals the WG Master Liability Amount at the top of the pop-up. Click on Save at the bottom of the pop-up when complete.

My scheduled payments now populate in the grid with the corresponding due dates and are ready to pay.
