UPCOMING: Time Slip Service Issue Status Fields
There are now 3 status fields that can be customized for Service Issues on Repair Orders. These fields can be utilized and updated directly on the Repair Order or through Technician Time Slip entry.
Reporting on Service Issue Status can be found on the following reports:
Service Labor Report
Customer Line Item Detail Grid View Report
Time Slip List
To configure the Service Issue Status Fields, navigate to:
Service > Support Lists > Service Issue Status X

Each menu option for Service Issue Status will open a tab that will allow you to create or edit a custom list of statuses. To create a new Issue Status, click on "Add new" at the top left of the tab. To edit an existing status, double-click on the row. Add or edit the description of the status and click "OK".

You have 3 separate groups of statuses that can be independently added to Repair Order Service Issues. Follow the same process for each Status List. Each list will be available separately for assignment on Time Slips and Repair Orders.
Service Issue Status can be set in two separate ways:
- Setting Service Issue Status on Time Slips
When a technician is clocking out of a Repair Order, they now have options to set the three Service Issue Statuses. These fields are optional on the time slip. The user can simply select the correct statuses from the dropdowns available.
NOTE: If a status has been set prior to the time slip, the existing statuses will populate and the user can update them if the status has changed.

- Setting Service Issue Status from drop-downs on the Service Issue Tab on the Repair Order
The 3 Service Issue Status fields are available in the column chooser of the Service Issue tab on the Repair Order. Users can click in the status fields and update a status by using the drop-down.

The Service Issue Status displayed on the Repair Order and on reports will reflect the most recently selected status that was set.
