UPCOMING: Edit Repair Orders Across Locations
Repair Orders can be opened and edited in locations different than where they were created. There are currently a few restrictions on what can be edited when working in a location different than the home location of the Repair Order.
To edit a Repair Order that was created in a different location, navigate to:
Service > Find > Repair Order
Set your date range and click on "Fetch". Once the list is populated, click the "Show All" search option on the top menu. Once clicked, the menu option will display the option to "Show My Location". You can toggle between the views by clicking the option again.

When the menu option says "Show My Location", the "Show All" option is in effect and you will now see Repair Orders from all Locations listed in the grid. Double-click on the Repair Order in the list that you wish to edit.

The Repair Order will open and be editable regardless of the Location where it was created. There are only a few features that are not currently available when editing in a Location that is different than where the document was created.
- Users are not able to create a New Repair Order for a Location different than their logged in Location. The Save and New option will create a new Repair Order in your current location even if you are saving a Repair Order from a different location.

- Copy to Service Estimate is not available on Repair Oders created in a different Location.

- Add Inventory Item from Catalog or from another location is not available on Repair Orders created in a different Location. To add a new part to the Location, you have 2 options.
- Log into the location where the Repair Order was created and all inventory add options will be available.
- Search for the part in the Inventory List or Item Search pop-up for the logged in location. Right-click on the current location part record in the grid and select "Copy to Other Location(s)". In the pop-up, select the Location(s) where you want the part created and click "OK".

- The option to Settle to Credit Card is not currently available. Users must log into the correct location to settle a Repair Order to Credit Card. All other settlement options are available. If you select the Credit Card option on the Settlement Pop-up, you will receive this message.

- Opening and editing time slips on a Repair Order that was created in a different location is not currently available.
