Miscellaneous Shop Charge Setup and Usage

The Service module allows for the setup of automatic charges to be applied to Repair Orders / Service Invoices based on Parts charges, Labor charges, or a combination of both. These charges can be a percentage or a fixed amount. You can also apply a minimum and maximum for these charges. They can be applied to Customer, Internal, and Warranty, or any combination of Service Issues. When a Service Issue is created, you have the option to either apply or not apply the Miscellaneous Charge. Multiple Miscellaneous Charges may also be set up to apply to the same Repair Order.

If you are an AGCO or CNH dealer, Product Codes can also be assigned so the information is uploaded during the Repair Order settlement process.

To setup new Miscellaneous Charges or review existing charges navigate to the following menu selections:

Service > Supports Lists > Misc. Shop Charges

If you already have existing charges set up, they will display on the list as shown. If you need to modify the existing charge, double click on the line to open.

To add a new Misc. Shop Charge click the Add New Button.
