Sales Tax Rounding

It is important that recreated documents match original documents exactly. At times there will be a difference in the amount of sales tax due to the rounding calculations used by different dealer business systems. RIMSS uses a miscellaneous charge to balance this total when there is a difference. This will only be done during the catch-up process.

The navigation is very similar regardless of the type of document being created in RIMSS and will be entered as a line item as a part would be.

1. Click " Add Misc. Charges"
2. Use header line to search for "sales tax rounding"
3. The price will be set to $0.01; adjust the quantity +/- as needed
