How to Verify Errors on Kubota Order Submissions
If you try to submit a Kubota Order and receive an error, you will want to provide details to RIMSS and Kubota to review.
The information to provide will include the following:
1 Create a Screenshot of the Error at the time it occurs
Using A Snipping Tool or the Print Screen options, capture a screenshot of the FULL RIMSS SCREEN including the Top and Bottom bars with the data on those bars readable. This example will use the Print Screen option which is built into windows.
- To use the print screen option, ensure the focus of windows is on the RIMSS screen by clicking on the program. You will want to make RIMSS cover the full screen when you create the screenshot.
- Click the PRT SCRN button on your PC.
- Open Outlook/Email or a blank Word Document
- In the Email or Word Document, place the cursor where you want the screenshot to go and hold down the CTRL button then hit the V button to paste the screenshot into the document.
- Write the description of the issue in the email - please provide as many details as you remember.
- Save and attach the Word Document to the email.
2 Pull the log files for the Order Submission and provide to RIMSS
Navigate to File > View > View Manufacturer Interface Logs
Click the + sign next to KUB, and then on the + sign next to PartsOrderStatus
The documents listed under PartsOrderStatus are the log files for order submissions. If you look at the title of the file and the time created, you will notice that there is an xml file for each Request and Response sent to and received from Kubota. You can double click the line items that correspond to your error to open the files.
Navigate to the files created at the time of your order submission error, and double click on the Request file. This will open the file in the default program on your computer, typically a web browser.
Click on Edit at the top left and choose "Select All"
Once you have selected all, Right-Click on the shaded area and choose "Copy".
Open Word or NotePad and paste the information into the file. Save the file with the same description as the original.
Now you can attach the 2 log files and the screenshot along with a description of what happened in an email and provide to support@rimss.com.
