UPCOMING: Company Preference to Prompt to Void Estimates Upon Convert to Sales Order

You now have a company preference for each document type to prompt you to void an estimate upon conversion to Sales Order, Repair Order, or Wholegood Sales Order.

To set these preferences, navigate to:

Company > Company Preferences

You can click on the following links to jump to that section:

Service Tab

Inventory Tab

Wholegood Tab

Service Tab Preference

Once the Company Preferences are open, navigate to the Service Tab.

You will find the new preference at the bottom of the list. Check the box to turn on the feature, then Save and Close.

With this feature active, navigate to Service > Find > Service Estimate to open an estimate.

Once in the Estimate, if you click on Convert to Repair Order, the system will now prompt you and ask if you want to void the document. Choose Yes to void and No to keep the Estimate active.

Inventory Tab Preference

Once the Company Preferences are open, navigate to the Inventory Tab.

You will find the new preference near the bottom of the list. Check the box to turn on the feature, then Save and Close.

With this feature active, navigate to Inventory > Find > Estimate to open an estimate.

Once in the Estimate, if you click on Convert to Sales Order, the system will now prompt you and ask if you want to void the document. Choose Yes to void and No to keep the Estimate active.

Wholegoods Tab Preference

Once the Company Preferences are open, navigate to the Wholegoods Tab.

You will find the new preference near the bottom of the list. Check the box to turn on the feature, then Save and Close.

With this feature active, navigate to Wholegoods > Find > WG Estimate to open an estimate.

Once in the Estimate, if you click on Convert to Sales Order, the system will now prompt you and ask if you want to void the document. Choose Yes to void and No to keep the Estimate active.

NOTE: You must replace any type Quote wholegoods on the estimate prior to converting to sales order or the WG Estimate will NOT be voided.
