Customer Console 4 - Creating Customer Documents and Appointments

To access the Customer Console, navigate to CRM > Find > Customer Console

Once you have populated a customer on the console, you will have options for creating most document types and appointments in RIMSS.  To create a document for the customer, click on Create at the top left of the screen.  This will give you a list of document types that you can choose from.  Once chosen, RIMSS will create the document type selected with the customer pre-populated.

You can also create Service Documents and Appointments from the Wholegoods tab of the Console.  Right-click on the wholegood line you would like to pre-populate on the service document and choose the correct option from the dropdown list.  When creating a document from this tab, RIMSS will pre-populate both the customer and the wholegood on the document or appointment created.  

There are additional options in the right-click menu for Wholegood lookups with specific manufacturers.  Contact the RIMSS support group for assistance if you are interested in having these interfaces configured.

The second menu option on the console is for Options. Under this menu option, you have the option to turn call monitoring through an interface on or off.  Additionally, you can reset all flyout reports to the default state.
