Creating New Warranty Customers

Start by going to Customer > New > Customer

*As there are likely already existing warranty customers that have been set up, you can also have one open in a different tab to use as a point of reference*

On the 'General' tab, you will input the warranty customer in the same manner as your existing (ex: Warranty - Kubota, Warranty - Stihl, etc.). Any additional information you may have for your warranty customer such as address, phone numbers, email address, etc. can be added at this time. You may also come back to have it added at a future date.

Next, on the 'Details' tab you can update the following fields indicated below. Again, if desired an already established warranty customer can be used as a template.

Now, when in a repair order and adding a Service Issue, you should see the newly created warranty customer in the drop down list.
