Applying AGCO Patch on New Workstations

Using AGCO patch that can be emailed from one of our RIMSS Support Analysts, drag and drop the file into your C:\AGCO folder. Click 'Yes' to copy it. Open the AGCO folder and click on the three dots along top of File Explorer and choose ‘Options’. Then go to ‘View’ tab and remove check from ‘Hide extensions for known file types’. Click ‘Apply’ and ‘Ok’.

Your ACGO patch should now look reflect as AGCO Patch.LC.txt. Remove the ‘txt’ and replace it with ‘reg’. The file should look like AGCO Patch.LC.reg once updated. On computer taskbar, type in 'cmd' to open the Command Prompt. Type in ‘regedit’ and click ‘Enter’.

Locate file again, right click on it and merge. If in Windows 11, you will need to right click, select ‘Show More Options’ and choose merge at the top (Will only appear if Command Prompt with regedit is open. Open AGCO Solutions and have customer sign in if needed. Go to the following paths:

  • Tools > Data Files > Files from AGCO > Download File Updates > Carrier Table
  • Tools > Data Files > Files from AGCO > Download File Updates > Codes Table

Go to Tools > Options > Parts Orders > Miscellaneous > Enable Auto Import > Click ‘Ok’. Once all is implemented, you can run a purchase order through RIMSS and see if it appears in AGCO solutions to verify. Can use a test purchase order and then void/delete it in Solutions and void it in RIMSS.
